General terms and conditions


1. GENERAL

  1. The General Terms and Conditions of Sander Hupkes Art apply to all offers, products, orders, agreements, and deliveries of Sander Hupkes Art. By placing an order, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully before placing an order. If you have any questions about these terms, please contact Sander Hupkes Art at art@sanderhupkes.com.


2. AGREEMENT AND ORDER

  1. The agreement becomes binding at the moment you place an order. Sander Hupkes Art processes the order after payment has been received. Until then, Sander Hupkes Art remains the sole owner of the products. 
  2. Once your order is processed, you will receive an email confirmation that the payment has been accepted, along with an email containing the invoice and order details. 
  3. Images and specifications are indicative. All products are handmade and may slightly differ. If a product does not meet your expectations, you can return it (see article 6), but it cannot serve as a reason to file a claim.


3. PAYMENTS AND PAYMENT METHODS

  1. At Sander Hupkes Art, you can choose from three secure payment methods: iDEAL, PayPal, and Credit Card. 
  2. If Sander Hupkes Art mistakenly lists an incorrect price on the website—and it is clearly an error—we reserve the right to correct it, even if you have already ordered that item. 
  3. All product prices on Sander Hupkes Art are inclusive of VAT but exclude shipping costs.


4. DELIVERY

  1. Sander Hupkes Art delivers all its products via courier service. 
  2. If you accidentally provided an incorrect delivery address, chose the wrong delivery option, or were not at home when DHL tried to deliver the package—and additional costs apply—Sander Hupkes Art will charge you for these extra costs. 
  3. Sander Hupkes Art will ship the order as soon as possible after payment is received. We always strive to ensure you receive your order within the expected delivery time. If this is not possible for any reason (e.g., an item is temporarily out of stock or the courier service is on strike), we will inform you immediately. 
  4. Until the moment of delivery, Sander Hupkes Art is responsible for the order. After delivery, the responsibility is transferred to you. 
  5. Please note that the delivery times mentioned in Article 5 are the expected delivery times. If a product is not delivered within the expected period, it is not possible to file a claim. However, Sander Hupkes Art will always do everything possible to ensure your order arrives on time.


5. INSPECTION PERIOD

  1. Sander Hupkes Art aims to make all customers happy with their purchase. We recommend checking the quality and quantity of the products within fourteen business days. If something is not right, please send an email to art@sanderhupkes.com, and we will send you a return label.

6. RETURNS & EXCHANGES

  1. We hope you are happy with your purchase. If not, you have fourteen days from the date you received your order to return the product. 
  2. The return form must always be included in the box. 
  3. You can return the package along with the return form to us. 
  4. The costs and responsibility for the return shipment are yours. 
  5. If goods are used, worn, damaged, or incomplete, we have the right to refuse the returned items. 
  6. Refunds will be made within 14 business days of receipt and inspection.
  7. Sander Hupkes Art can only refund the amount to the account from which the original payment was made.


7. WARRANTY

  1. After the inspection period of fourteen days (Article 5.1), Sander Hupkes Art offers a two-month warranty on the quality of the product. If you are not satisfied with the product’s quality, please send an email to art@sanderhupkes.com, and we will send you a return label. 
  2. Sander Hupkes Art will propose a suitable alternative, but Sander Hupkes Art will decide whether to choose one of the following options: Repair, Replacement, Refund. 
  3. In the case of a refund, reimbursement (including shipping costs) will occur within 14 business days of receipt and inspection. 
  4. If we repair or replace the item, it may take up to 14 business days. 
  5. The warranty expires if the product has defects caused by improper use, if you or others have made or attempted to make changes to the product, or if it has been used in a manner for which the item is not intended.


8. COPYRIGHT

  1. All photos and images used by Sander Hupkes Art are protected by copyright. Without written permission from Sander Hupkes Art, photos and images may not be reproduced or publicly used.


9. DISPUTES

  1. All legal relationships are exclusively governed by Dutch law.
